Facts about Wasp, Hornets and Bees
- Wasp and hornets don't have hair on their body, so they are not pollinators. But still have important rule in ecological system. Wasp and Hornets hunt for "Aphids" or other small insects like flies and mosquitos, and keep their population under control.
- They are very aggressive especially in we approach near to their nest.
- Nest cannot be relocated
- We have seen that Hornets are active even after sunset.
- Do not approach bald faced hornet nest with protection even at night
- Bees, bumble bees and carpenter bees are pollinators.
- Being eco friendly, we should avoid killing bees and try to relocate their nests.
